• It took me about twenty minutes to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard actually), but I kept thinking: "How can I describe Reqwium's style/approach in words"? How can I relate the message Reqwium is trying to convey? I've always been honest and open, and I want Reqwium and anything related to Reqwium to reflect that, so in turn you aren't going to get your traditional press release statement. Sometimes I may be too open and reveal too much info, but it's more important to stay true to my values then put up some front. How that relates to Reqwium is simple: You are going to get clean, pure, organized chaos in my work. I was the kid who always wanted to open the emergency exit door, just to see what would happen - to see people's reactions and Reqwium's design will reflect those reactions. Reqwium thrives on giving attention to the subtle details and items lost in the background and putting them into the forefront.

Reqwium Design is the brainchild of designer/entrepreneur William Blonna. What started as a class project has morphed into a lifestyle. Blending his love for typography, color, texture, observation, "controlled chaos" and a non-formatable style, William continues to develop his own brand of design. Reqwium is and has been a one-man show, balancing a full time client load of freelance graphic design work with the Reqwium Apparel. Reqwium is an ever-evolving art project not limited to any certain medium, but focused on delivering my design style. Taking from many influences in my everyday life: music, culinary discovery, textures, colors, observations, chaos, words, letters, signage, it's the things that happen everyday that inspire me to design and create Reqwium. It's in my dreams and in my food,in my words, on my desktop, and in my closet. It's everywhere around me.

Reqwium will keep pushing and playing and enjoying the lifestyle, because if you aren't smiling and doing what you love, then what are you really doing.
